
Ramadan is identical to takjil. Usually, one place will be filled with merchants selling their food. The stalls of the new sellers are opened closer to iftar time.
The Perumnas people may be familiar with the crowds on Ciremai Raya road. Every time the opening hour approaches, it will always be filled with food vendors on each side. The food also varies from the typical Ramadan kolak to savory fried spring rolls. Various cold drinks are available in the area, ranging from iced tea 3,000 to ice dawet ayu thick with sweet palm sugar.
From sweet to salty, everything is available in this area. Buyers looking for heavy food to break their fast will find it easy to get. In front of the Perumnas market are stalls of nasi uduk, oxtail soup, and various other dishes. The prices offered also vary. For snacks, the price starts from 2,000 rupiah and goes up to tens of thousands of rupiah. For heavy meals, the price starts at around 7,000 rupiah and goes up to twenty thousand rupiah.
However, when the month of Ramadan has ended, the buyers can still find various snacks. Because on weekdays, Ciremai Raya Street turns into one of the “street food” spots that are the target of young people. The hours are also longer. The merchants opened their stalls at three in the afternoon, along with dismissal of student of public high school 3 Cirebon and student of public junior high school 7 Cirebon. It’s just that there is no kolak or typical Ramadan food.

This is for buyers who like fried, processed cassava. You can try the Singkong Meletus food in front of the Pasuketan pharmacy. This culinary is made from cassava with spices such as garlic, turmeric, and salt. After letting it sit for a few minutes, the cassava is steamed until cooked. To get a visual that
seems to pop, the cassava is fried until golden. Finally, it is topped with sweetened condensed milk, cheese, and ceres.
The salty favor mixes with the sweetness of the toppings. Making this culinary has a rich favor. This culinary is suitable as an iftar (breaking the fast) snack. Because it is filling and also cheap. The price is only 8,000 – 10,000 rupiah, and the buyer has already received 4-5 pieces of popped cassava.
