Docang is a delicious breakfast dish, a specialty of the city of Cirebon. Many people are fond of this food. Anyone can eat this dish, from small children to adults. The reason is because the food has a distinctive flavor from the spices and fillings. Some traditional restaurants or roadside carts in Cirebon City usually sell docang. Prince Rengganis used to make the food as poison. Instead of serving it as poisonous food to the wali songo, they ate it happily because it was delicious. Since then, the people of Cirebon have considered the dish as a traditional Cirebon food that is favored by the public.
Docang is a traditional food of Cirebon City that contains rice cake, papaya leaf vegetables, bean sprouts, grated coconut and white crackers. In addition, this Cirebon specialty food has a distinctive sauce because the mixture contains dage. Its distinctive flavor and spicy chili sauce will certainly increase your appetite. Docang Mrs. Wiwi only sells for Rp. 12.000,- per serving, complete with white crackers. Mrs. Wiwi’s traditional food buyers are not only Cirebon people but there are also people from other regions. Usually, people who are traveling to Cirebon also try Mrs. Wiwi’s docang. When buying docang, we can eat on the spot or pack it to eat at home.
