Introduction to Cigugur Village

The Kuningan Regency, West Java village, is famous for its tolerance and
plurality culture. People call the village Cigugur Village, which has more than
7,000 people. In the west, the Cigugur Village border is Ciremai Mount. The

natural tourist destinations. The first is Mayasih City Park. Mayasih City
Park will present tourists with a view of natural stone, the result of the eruption
of Mount Ciremai. The second is Balong Girang. Balong Girang is a tourist
attraction in the form of a natural spring pool. In addition, Balong Girang is also
the habitat of one of the rare, the Kancra Bodas. Beyond that, these two attractions also have their own mystical stories that are interesting to find

Cultural Potential

The cultural potential of Cigugur Village is also very high. Cigugur villagers celebrate one traditional festival to mark the harvest. This festival is called Seren Taun and is celebrated every 22nd of Rayagung (Sundanese Calendar). The villagers will celebrate the traditional Seren Taun ceremony for approximately five days. The enthusiasm for the Seren Taun event from residents outside the city, even the country.
