Karangdawa Village located on Jalan Raya Kalijaga, Gang Kerukunan III, Karangdawa Timur, Pegambiran, Lemahwungkuk District, Cirebon City.

Being close to the sea gives the villagers an excellent opportunity to sustain their livelihood as fishermen, catching fish to sell. However, this sea differs from others. Why? Because its shallow waters and calm waves limit the availability of fish and marine resources compared to other seas.

Although Karangdawa Village sits near the sea, it has no fishermen due to the sea conditions. As a result, the locals have found an alternative way to utilize the marine resources turning the area into a tourist destination.
This coastal attraction is known as “Wisata Bahari Kejawanan” (WBK) between Karangdawa and Kejawanan villages. WBK offers breathtaking ocean views that will captivate anyone who visits. Besides its stunning scenery, visitors can enjoy the calm waves and witness the beauty of sunrise and sunset, complemented by the sight of large ships docked at the Kejawanan Nusantara Fisheries Port.
The entrance ticket to WBK is affordable, only Rp5,500 per person. With this price visitors can already enjoy various facilities, such as photo spots like the ‘Dermaga Rindu’ and ‘I Love WBK’ bridges, clean and comfortable bathrooms, gazebos for relaxing, and food stalls. In addition, tourist also get protection from Jasa Raharja Putera if they have an accident while visiting.
Thriving Culinary Businesses in Karangdawa Village
Apart from having beautiful tourism, Karangdawa Village also has a variety of UMKM run by its residents. Some of them are Mie Ayam, Warteg, and the Catering business.
